As a collector of early spitfires ( I have owned two 1968 models) this is a nice example from the photos. There are some body alignment issues that may be as simple as adjusting some hinges and bonnet hardware. I would be aware of rust where the suspension attaches to the body (always a problem) and check the fusebox. But for an early removable top frame Spitfire, this is a good deal especially since he is willing to take offers.
These are great cars for the beginning hooner and mechanic.
